Dear Senator Tom Corburn:
We are writing to you on behalf of Mercy School in Edmond. As students attending this institution for the past seven years, we believe that our school is a positive influence on the community. Mercy School was established in 1999 in a tiny, old office building. The school has been growing ever since. Just two years ago, we moved into a new building and have applied for accreditation.
Mercy School has been involved in many different forms of community service. We have volunteered as a school at the local food bank. Many students regularly volunteer their time at OKC beautiful, and our teachers are involved in mentorship programs such as Lego Robotics. Our student council has held fundraisers for causes such as Breast Cancer Research.
Mercy School’s student body has tripled in the past 12 years, and it is still growing. Our new building has already reached its carrying capacity. It would be very nice if the council could send us a letter of commendation for the great work Mercy School is involved in. In addition to showing that our government leadership is supportive of our school’s Vision to create balanced Americans, this would greatly benefit us in our accreditation process.
Thanks,
S.S. and M.T.
Contacting Him
